10.Overseas kyudo

Although kyudo is known as martial art of Japan, what has it become overseas?

Kyudo has spread also overseas. By Eugen Herrigel's work "bow and zen", since kyudo of Japan was taken up as it is a sport which respects soul, its population which begins kyudo in Western countries in spite of a foreigner's showing concern and not being an Olympics item increases, and it has become, so that sports associations are established.

As for Germany where kyudo is the most prosperous, or the German kyudo league enrollment, the leagues of about 1100 persons and other countries are also several 100 people and the one where population is smaller still more.

In order to deepen spread and promotion of kyudo in 2006, the international kyudo league was formed as an international organization of kyudo mainly by Amateur Archery Federation of Japan. Although it is a globally minor still sport, it is observed as a sport which will spread more from now on.

The 1st world kyudo convention which turns into the first International Convention in kyudo was held the other day in the central exercise hall in Tokyo and Meiji-jingu.

The organization and individual match of the confrontation game classified by country are held, and 18 nation and the area participate in a team event. The early outlook of Japanese predominance was reversed and France took the post of the first king's post. Kyudo is collecting popularity centering on the West overseas. The foreigner and the Japanese lover of overseas service who touched kyudo during Japanese stay strove for spread, and the "international kyudo league" was established four years ago. Now, 17 nations including Japan have joined. Kyudo is also the sport which excels also in training emotional strength and concentration. since -- there are some persons who begin kyudo for the reason for liking to train soul. I think that I want a sport of Japan to spread such an advantage more, to increase kyudo population more, and to know also in foreign countries.

As introduced until now, both children and old persons can enjoy kyudo without men-women relations. Moreover, I think that it excels also in training soul. Many things are studied also about courtesy. It is a sport which becomes study through the whole life.
I spread not only through Japan but through overseas, let you many people know kyudo, and want you to enjoy myself. Please experience at o

9.How to a bow

There is how to draw the bow called "Syaho-hassetsu" in kyudo. It is explained.

It is "Ashibumi" at first. When shooting a bow, it is how to step on the first leg used as the foundation. In order for an arrow to hit a target correctly, it is required to build the right posture first and, for that purpose, it must carry out the right Ashibumi.

The next is "Doudukuri." It is the operation which extracts and relaxes the power of the shoulder on the basis of "Ashibumi", straightens the back straightly, and puts power under a navel. Since balance is not good if this is weak, drawing a bow does not improve.

The next is "Yugamae." It is operation just before drawing a bow still more. Therefore, the basic field vigor by "Ashibumi" and "Doudukuri" is held, and breathing must be prepared, and it must concentrate and must operate.

The next is "Uchiokoshi." Before drawing a bow, it is the operation which raises both fists with a bow and an arrow in a top. As introduced before, there are the two methods of "Shoumennuchiokoshi" and "Syamennuchiokoshi" in "Uchiokoshi."

The next is "Hikiwake." It is the operation which draws the bow which carried out Uchiokoshi equally [ right and left ]. "HIkiwake" is the operation which takes the lead in drawing a bow, and the quality of "Hikiwake" influences greatly "Kai" and "Hanare" which come to the next.

The next is "Kai." In the operation which can be said to be the completed type of "Hikiwake", hit is influenced greatly. Since it hits firmly targeting a target at the time of Kai, it adjusts. Since it is important, it concentrates most.

The next is "Hanare." It is the operation which shoots an arrow from a bow. "Kai" to wonderful "Hanare" of a good state is made. It is important to perform "Hanare" equally [ right and left ] from bodily middle.

The last is "Zanshinn." The posture after an arrow separates is said. Kyudo was not completed by Hanare. In addition, there are some which were left behind. It is soul and a form. "Zanshinn" does not break down the posture of "Hanare" which is a continuation of "Hanare", but concentration keeps filled.

There is a word of "certainly hitting if it pulls correctly" in Kyudo. This is protecting Syahouhassetsu correctly and pulling in a beautiful form. For that purpose, you have to make each operation polite.

Why is my blog topic important for people in society?

Kyudo does not hit a target easily, unless mental concentration is made. If especially the target of a far distance has disorder in soul, they will not hit. Moreover, I think that it becomes training of the heart and flesh since it will not hit if the heart has illusion also physically since a powerful bow is drawn and aimed at. Although concentration does not necessarily stick, it is recommended at those who would like to prepare the heart or to overcome a pressure. Since it can do regardless of young and old of both sexes, it can carry out also as a lifelong sport.
Kyudo values courtesy. An opportunity to meet the direction of one's superiors increases and he masters minimum courtesy. Though it is an individual event, teamwork is important for kyudo. Since a team will be inconvenienced if selfish action is carried out, it must always sympathize with a teammate and must take care mutually. Martial art of Japan is a "way" which is not only the world of victory and defeat. A "way" is "performing the training of living through things one and carrying out body expression of the investigation of appearance or the truth, or self soul." Kyudo will serve as a place of the good pursuit of knowledge for it.

8.A kyudo place

A kyudo place means the exercise hall for performing kyudo and archery. Seki handling those of a Kinteki place and an Enteki place with two kind, and bow and arrows -- since things are accompanied by danger, the design considered safely is made. It is annexed to the prefecture, the city, and the municipal public athletic plant in many cases.

A Kinteki place is explained. The distance from those who shoot an arrow to a target is 28 m. Usually, a target 36 cm in diameter is placed. The ground is aslant piled so that an arrow may not be cracked in Matoba, and this is called Aduchi. Most kyudo places perform the usual exercise now in a Kinteki exercise hall from a junior high school ? university and a public establishment exercise hall to a private exercise hall. Since it is comparatively easy to take plottage, a home does not have few kyudo houses which build the simple exercise hall one person or for two persons, either.

An Enteki place is explained. Generally, there is 60 m of distance from a shooting line to a target. Usually, a target 1 m in diameter is placed. Since a large site is required, there is few installation of an exclusive Entekki place. Aduchi of filling to Matoba is nothing. Combined use with the exercise hall and archery in which juxtaposition with a Kinteki place was designed by the up-and-down two-story building in Kinteki-Enteki places, such as the Tokyo Budokan Hall kyudo place, on restrictions of plottage by most now is also seen.

"Kamidana" is put on the kyudo place. It is explained. Kamidana is the shelf which deified God of Shintoism. It is said that there are three kinds of household Shinto altars, and there is a full-scale spin-out thing of a shrine which deified Onreisya for deifying the soul of Sakkyu which put the card of God in the form of Miya which imitated the small shrine, and an ancestor who is equivalent to a Buddhistic Buddhist altar, and the object of worship. It can be said that Kamidana is what is an altar of Shintoism (religion) and shows the domain of God as a sacred place. Although the household Shinto altar remains in some public schools and a private school now, it is not installed simultaneously with establishment of a public judo area or kendo place, and a kyudo place. It may be able to be said that the household Shinto altar in an exercise hall was the symbol of thought and a wealth-and-military-strength-of-a-country policy which the national government performed aiming at building the new organization centering on the Emperor and which respects the Emperor.

I've heard talk about rugby.

It's to invade enemy territory players of two teams with scramble , the ball one ball . Thus space called the in-goal of the attack into enemy territory , and to which we aim . Score is granted by allowing the ball to touch this space . I say tri this score . In order to obtain this try , hit each other each other bodies , athletes of both teams , I repeat the offense and defense and competing for the ball .

So it is better to handle the ball next.  The ball, coursing to have, ( path ) toss by hand , ( kick ) kick in the foot is permitted.
In addition there is no problem where systemic ball to touch .
However , there is a big feature in the way of this holy ball . It means , should not be alone in front of the ball . If you toss the ball I do not Hore only player you are in the back than you.

6.The school of kyudo

Two schools of there can be broadly divided into archery. I will describe the two schools.

Archery of Japan can be classified into "Hosya" developed from how to mainly draw the bow by on foot in a battlefield, "Kisya" developed from how to draw the bow shot from a horse, and "Dosya" developed from how to draw the bow of the passing arrow in Sanjusangen-do. In the contemporary classification, the view divided into the type of martial art and the type of courtesy became in use.How to draw a bow, as for what the difference in a school appears in easily -- Syomenutiokoshi, Syamenutiokoshi, and a type -- the type of a battle, or courtesy -- a type . Syomenutiokoshi puts a bow on the bodily front straight as it is, after setting an arrow. Syamenutiokoshi moves the cantle which set the arrow to bodily left-hand side, and puts a bow on the diagonal left.

Syamenutiokoshi

Syomenutiokoshi

University of Tsukuba is set to Syamenutiokoshi of the type of a battle while of these two types. This is called Heki style. The founder of this school is the person "Heki Dansei Masatsugu" who existed in the end of the Muromachi period. The Heki style was the practical archery for foot soldiers with emphasis on the penetration power of hit or an arrow. A battlefield is left at the Edo period, it is completed as a samurai's front art, and the archery in which the samurai has polished up the battle in a battlefield as a starting point is inherited as a Heki style till today.

The school mainly used now is an Ogasawara style of Syomenutiokoshi. An Ogasawara style is a school of archery, horsemanship, and courtesy. Moreover, there are some which also give their name to military tactics and the tea ceremony as an Ogasawara style. Although it is a school notable as a school of etiquette, it is the school which samurai, such as archery, horsemanship, and a custom, were mainly using essentially. Having become a prototype came to be respected from Mr. Ogasawara's having become the existence as a leader in samurai society after the Muromachi period middle.

However, in the present kyudo, it is pulling along with the method of the unific motion defined with the book of the instruction of kyudo, and how to pull. Therefore, even if the influence of a specific school has won popularity, there are many directions which do not necessarily belong to the school. that is, -- it is acquisition about the method of influence irrespective of a school that kyudo is right as the book of an instruction in order to make progress kyudo -- things are important.
